using art as a medium to raise awareness at the YWCA
Criminalization of Girls of Color 2019
In collaboration with Girls With A Purpose, an imagery set was proposed that would convey messaging on issues within the public school system in regards to the school to prison pipeline. Some key issues identified were Adultification & Relevant Educational Curriculum. Below is the artwork produced as a result of the collaboration. We thank GWAP for their hard work on this project.

Violence Against Women 2018
"In response to an invitation to participate in the Fitton Center for Creative Arts "25 - Human Rights" exhibit and inspired by Jackson Katz's work this series was created. Women Helping Women & the YWCA Hamilton put a call out for women to come forward & share their stories of violence and abuse. The women were asked to write their stories and be photographed to produce this collection of moving images. By photographing the images from a dominant position and molding their stories onto their faces, very personal and emotional impact was created.
